Reducing the TB burden in Ukraine Through Expanding and Enhancing Access to High Quality TB Services
Overall in Global Fund Program OATH prepared and conducted 24 program activities, including training seminars and trainings, involving national trainers. This program was implemented June 2011 – February 2015, 12 staff and 234 consultants were employed during the period. 306 trainings were conducted and 5520 health workers were trained, such as laboratory specialists, physicians, nurses, engineers on occupational health and safety, psychologists, specialists of the Penitentiary System and regional coordinators of the "Stop TB in Ukraine" Program; 263 monitoring visits to health facilities in all project regions were conducted. Procurement of equipment and laboratory supplies was part of the OATH project scope.
